Kingfisher offers a straightforward and intimate camping experience, it is ideal for those seeking simplicity in their natural surroundings. A peaceful retreat awaits you as your campsite is set beside a tranquil natural pond which attracts a rich diversity of bird life.

This campsite exudes rustic charm, with a layout designed to balance privacy with a sense of community with your next door neighbours at Jacana Campsite (60 metres away). 

Key features include a braai area, ready to be enjoyed. The private ablution includes a toilet and shower. Hot water is provided by a traditional donkey boiler, don’t worry, instructions are provided on how to operate it. Clean, potable water from the borehole is available for drinking and other needs, so no need to worry about bringing along extra water. Jacana has electric points with standard South African power outlets available.
